DANITZA VERDUGO-AGUIAR

ZUMBA

Dance has been a part of Danitza’s life since she was a child. For many years, she was part of the folkloric Ballet of BCS in México, which gave her the opportunity to tour many cities. Zumba came into her life almost three years ago. Her first class was with Erica Castillo, a WeViva instructor,  and she loved the class from the first moment. Although she practice Kickboxing, Indoor Cycling, Steps, and Boot Camp, Zumba is her greatest passion. She became an instructor in June 2012. What she loves about Zumba is that every class feels like a party where you have fun at the same time that you keep your body in shape and healthy! When she’s not shaking her hips,  she is mentoring and providing consulting to parents in several elementary schools in Austin ISD and Manor ISD on how to help their children from Pre-K up to achieve the goal of graduating High School. She loves being part of WeViva because it makes her feel full in her work of helping her community in the most important aspects of life: health, physical and education. “Come to my classes and I can assure you that you will love Zumba and not want stop dancing ever again!”
