INTERIM PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Kathleen Corder is a senior at The University of Texas studying Kinesiology & Health Education. She is specializing in Health Promotion, with a focus on Community Health and Wellness, and will be graduating Summer 2017. She hopes to begin her career in the health promotion field focusing on health, nutrition, and fitness for at-risk populations in Austin. In the future, she plans to work towards a Master of Public Health or Master of Healthcare Administration degree. In her spare time she enjoys running on the trails at Lady Bird Lake, hiking, backpacking, yoga, and trying out new coffee shops/restaurants around Austin.
Alex’s career goal is simple: inspire and help people meet their health goals. She is passionate about preventing and combating obesity and diabetes and seeks to help bring wellness to the city of Austin. She received her bachelors degree in Corporate Communications and Geography from the University of Texas at Austin and plans to go back to school to begin a Masters in Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys running, ballet, and traveling.
Carley Franklin is a senior at Texas State University majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics. She is passionate about community health and is excited to work with WeViva to help change lives through nutrition education. In her free time she enjoys cooking, running, hiking with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
