INTERIM PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Kathleen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Kinesiology & Health Education. She specialized in Health Promotion, with a focus on Community Health and Wellness. She is passionate about providing opportunities for people to take care of their health, specifically for at-risk communities. In her spare time, she enjoys running on the trails at Lady Bird Lake, hiking, backpacking, yoga, and trying out new coffee shops/restaurants around Austin.
Alex’s career goal is simple: inspire and help people meet their health goals. She is passionate about preventing and combating obesity and diabetes and seeks to help bring wellness to the city of Austin. She received her bachelors degree in Corporate Communications and Geography from the University of Texas at Austin and plans to go back to school to begin a Masters in Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys running, ballet, and traveling.
Prageet is currently pursuing a PhD in Nutritional Sciences at University of Texas at Austin. Along with pursuing her PhD, she also teaches nutrition classes to undergraduate students at UT. She has a Masters degree in Public Health from Texas A&M University. She is passionate about addressing disparities in chronic diseases of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular conditions among low income households. In her free time, Prageet likes to go on hikes with her dog, read novels and create healthy food recipes.
Tiffany is a senior at Texas State University majoring in Nutrition & Foods- Dietetics. Born and raised in Austin, Texas she hopes to use her degree to better serve minority communities through nutrition education and outreach. She plans to earn her Masters in Public Health after graduation at the University of Colorado. In her spare time she enjoys camping with her family, running with her dog, reading, and traveling the world. Someday she hopes to start a children’s nonprofit nutrition program abroad.
