Carolyn’s professional background combines several years experience as a social worker and staff member with non-profit organizations promoting health and fitness with at-risk populations in Austin, Texas, including Marathon Kids and ACTIVELife. She is an accomplished runner and fitness advocate. She holds a Master’s Degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachlor of Arts from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

Alex received her bachelors degree in Corporate Communications and Geography from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016. She is beginning her career in health promotion with the mission of helping people meet their health goals and combat diabetes and obesity. In the future she plans to work towards a Master of Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys running, ballet, reading, and traveling.


Yesenia Ramirez is a senior at The University of Texas majoring in Dietetics. She is very passionate about nutrition, especially vegan nutrition, and is excited to share her knowledge and passion with the local communities through WeViva. On her spare time she enjoys making videos, going on adventures, reading, listening to music, trying new vegan recipes, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog.


Dulce Vasquez is a senior at The University of Texas studying Nutritional Sciences. After graduation, she hopes to attend graduate school and continue her studies in Nutrition with an emphasis on Community Nutrition. Some of her passions include food, nutrition, fitness, and public health. On her spare time, she enjoys running on the trails at Lady Bird Lake, finding recipes with more nutrient dense ingredient substitutions, and spending time with friends and family. She is very excited to be working with WeViva, as she believes that educating on the importance of nutrition and fitness as part of an overall healthy lifestyle will revolutionize health care.
